I am currently completing my Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies at UBC Okanagan, with a focus on Canadian Funeral Celebrants. During September and October, I will be away on education leave and not seeing clients.

When I return, my availability will remain limited as I continue my studies, which I expect to complete in 2027. During this time, I will not be able to accept new clients, except through the Critical Incident Response Program or the First Responder Health Program.

l am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#2681) and hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology. I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies at UBC Okanagan studying the role of the funeral celebrant. My passion is helping people navigate their way through a stressful or traumatic life event, grief, and supporting our First Responders. I am a down-to-earth mental health professional, and my practice has focused on instilling hope in clients who have challenges related to stressful life experiences. I embrace a client-centred approach which means that I listen to my clients with curiosity and an open heart. I use a wide range of therapeutic approaches to ensure I don’t try to fit you into a prescribed box. In Salmon Arm, I am embedded in the community fabric with the WorkSafe Critical Incident Response Program, the BC Emergency Health Program, First Responder Health and as a funeral professional. I am also proud to be working alongside the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Association as a Level 2 Occupationally Trained Clinician with the BC Professional Firefighters’ Association. I practice with recognition, respect, and acknowledgement of the unique history, culture, and traditions of Aboriginal people.
